What is calculated

Your chart is calculated from your date, time and place of birth, with your birthplace's historical time zone applied. Indian reports use the sidereal zodiac with the Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) ayanamsa, whole sign houses counted from your Lagna, and the Vimshottari dasha system.

• Lagna (Ascendant), Rasi (Moon sign), Nakshatra (birth star) and pada
• Every planetary placement, with its sign, degree, house and dignity
• Your Vimshottari dasha periods, and the Saturn and Jupiter transits that matter
• Your tithi, weekday, and the Tamil and lunar months of your birth
• Tamil, Kannada and Hindi (Janma Kundali) regional perspectives on the same chart

What your reading covers

The reading is written from those calculated positions. It explains what each placement means, the patterns that recur across your chart, and what the chart suggests about career, relationships, money and personal growth. It looks back at past periods you may recognise and ahead at the periods now unfolding, each with its opportunities and challenges, and ends with a summary to return to.

Past periods are framed as patterns you may recognise, and future periods as possibilities to prepare for. Nothing in the report is presented as a certainty.

Tamil, Kannada and Hindi perspectives

Every Indian report also includes three regional perspectives: Tamil, Kannada and Hindi (Janma Kundali). Each reads the same calculated chart through its own region's terminology, calendar and emphasis.

Language, layout and regional presentation change how your chart is described. The calculation never changes.

Dedicated Telugu and Malayalam perspectives are not included yet, though reports in those languages are written entirely in your language.

When your birth time is not exact

Some details need a reliable birth time, such as the Lagna, the houses and exact dasha dates. When your time is approximate or unknown, they are limited or left out, and your report says so.

If the Moon could have changed Rasi or Nakshatra during the possible birth window, the report shows each possibility instead of choosing one. We never assume a time such as noon.

Any language you prefer

Every report can be written in Tamil, English, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada or Malayalam, in either tradition. An Indian report in English, or in Malayalam, is written entirely in that language.
